Betting unit
A betting unit is a personal reference amount used to express stake size consistently; it is not a fixed dollar amount, probability, or guarantee of bankroll safety.
On Slam Wager True Strength picks are 1, 2 or 3 units, shown as stars.
What it means
A unit can make records comparable when the definition remains stable. Many bettors set one unit at 1-2% of a bankroll they have set aside for betting.
True Strength picks are 1, 2 or 3 units, shown as stars and sized from a market-blended expected value. MLB and NFL picks are always 1 unit. The members' record counts every pick at a flat 1 unit, with the result at the 1-3 unit sizing beside it.
Limits and responsible use
Unit records are incomplete without the price, result, settlement rules, and a clearly defined reporting scope.
Choose a small fixed amount from a separate entertainment budget and never use rent, savings, debt, or emergency funds for wagering.
